Financial data, research company moves to Austin

LIM Research.com, which uses history to help predict financial market movements, has moved its headquarters from Chicago to Austin -- uniting its corporate and research divisions with a technical staff located here since 1987. The company, which is part of Logical Information Machines Inc., also has a new deal with I/B/E/S, a global provider of information on financial earnings expectations. LIM will use I/B/E/S databases to help clients understand behavior of more than 3,000 stocks before and after earnings are announced.
