Norton gets approval for MRI at planned pediatric center

Norton Healthcare Inc. has received state approval to provide MRI services at a pediatric outpatient facility that the company plans to build in the northeastern portion of the county.

The facility will be located at Old Brownsboro Crossing, adjacent to Norton Medical Plaza and Norton Brownsboro Hospital, which is under construction.

Addition of the MRI service accounts for $2.67 million of the total cost of the facility, which is expected to be nearly $44 million.
