Bank of Kentucky stock to trade on NASDAQ

The Bank of Kentucky Financial Corp. said Friday its common stock has been accepted for listing on the NASDAQ Global Market.
The stock will begin trading on NASDAQ Nov. 24 under its current symbol, BKYF. It has been trading on the Over the Counter Bulletin Board, where shares opened Friday at $18.75.
“We believe this move will improve the visibility of our stock, enhance trading liquidity in our shares, and provide us with greater exposure to investors,” said Robert Zapp, president and CEO, in a news release.
The Bank of Kentucky, headquartered in Crestview Hills, Ky., operates 28 branches in Northern Kentucky. It is the eighth-largest bank in the Cincinnati area, with deposits of about $1 billion, according to June figures from the Federal Deposit Insurance Corp.
The bank posted third-quarter net income of $3.4 million, or 61 cents per share, up 15 percent over the year-ago quarter.
