AutoTrader.com to close call center

Orlando Business Journal

AutoTrader.com, an on-line classified advertising owned by Cox Enterprises, plans to close its Orlando call center, eliminating 69 jobs.

Company spokesman Mark Scott said the decision to shutter the center is part of a larger reorganization. AutoTrader.com plans relocate some of its jobs to its Atlanta headquarters.

The center is located on Technology Avenue in Orlando. The company, which notified the state of its plans on Monday, said it expects to lay off workers next February.
