Pacific Business News (Honolulu)
The Ohana Waikiki Beachcomber has completed its interior remodel, part of a $21 million renovation.
The remodel includes an upgraded lobby and porte-cochere as well as guest rooms with new carpeting and hardwood furnishings. Bathrooms were upgraded with granite counter tops, wall-mounted mirrors and decorative light fixtures.
The hotel is offering travelers a “Re-Introductory Special” to celebrate the renovation. Room rates start at $139 per room, per night. The package also offers the option of adding a rental car for an additional $29 per day for a compact vehicle.
The final phase of the hotel’s renovation includes the completion of its new pool this month, and the addition of a restaurant and bar, Jimmy Buffet’s at the Beachcomber, which is slated to open in February 2009.
