Monsanto to sell NSC unit

Monsanto Co. said it will sell its NSC Technologies pharmaceutical unit to Indianapolis-based Great Lakes Chemical Corp. for $125 million. The sale is part of Monsanto's restructuring plan. Proceeds will go toward reducing debt. Under the deal, Monsanto will be a supplier to NSC Technologies, based in Mount Prospect, Ill.
