Agreement reached on new $550 million bridge

St. Louis Business Journal

Mayor Clarence Harmon and St. Clair County Board Chairman John Baricevic announced plans for a $550 million Mississippi River bridge linking Illinios and downtown St. Louis. The bridge will be located approxiately halfway between the Eads and McKinley bridges. Harmon stressed that this agreement only pertains to the location of ramps and the flow of traffic in the city, and not the design of the bridge itself.
