Cruise line inks port deal

Madeira Beach-based Europa Cruises Corp. announced today it will open its fourth port and its second in the Bay Area. The short-trip cruise line said it has entered into an agreement with the Tierra Verde Resort and Marina near St. Pete Beach to base the M/V Stardancer there later this month. Europa signed a one-year lease, with an option for annual renewals through 2002. Europa currently sails from John's Pass in Madeira Beach, as well as Miami and Fort Myers.
