MSP ranks 7th in healthy food report

Minneapolis / St. Paul Business Journal - by Katharine Grayson Staff Writer

Minneapolis-St. Paul International Airport (MSP) ranked seventh among the nation’s busiest airports when it comes to healthy food offerings, according to a report released Tuesday.

Nutritionists with the Physicians Committee for Responsible Medicine conducted the study, scanning menus for low-fat, cholesterol-free vegetarian dishes. The report looked only at the 15 busiest U.S. airports.

MSP tied with San Francisco International Airport for seventh place.

Dallas/Fort Worth International Airport tied with Detroit Metropolitan Wayne County Airport for first place. Ronald Reagan Washington National Airport ranked last.
